Hi there. Check out my new tutorial published at Vectortuts and you will learn how to create a microwave oven illustration. We’ll start with a bunch of simple rectangles, the Rounded Corners effect and some basic vector shape building technique. Once we get our starting shape we’ll use the Appearance panel, a simple pattern, some basic effects and a dashed stroke to get to the refined stylized final illustration.
