Hi there. Have a look at this new quick tip published on Vectortuts and you will learn how to create a modern volume dial. It all starts with three concentric circles. Using some interesting stroke properties along with basic effects you will create the volume line. Next, using multiple fills and strokes along with Pathfinder options and some new effects you will create the rest of the button.

  1. Just did the tutorial. I posted it here . I love the look and how fun it was to recreate this amazing knob. A lot of work went into creating this knob, but its worth it when you see the end results. I want all my user interfaces to look as good as yours does. Keep the tutorials coming.
