Hi there. Have a look at my new tutorial published on Vectortuts and you will learn how to create a glassy text effect filled with a green, acidic substance. You’ll use shape creation tools, Opacity Masks, and filters. This project could work well to add a mad scientist feel to your next creative design project.

Hi Andrei, correct me if I’m wrong but I believe for the gradient in Step One is incorrectly labelled? I used 255, 135 & 171 but that gave me a pinky colour and not a yellow. And the background colour (250,250 & 250) came out as a white whereas it seemed a yellow colour in your pictures.
Cheers

Hi Luke.
You’re right about the gradient. The correct color is 255 235 & 171.
Take a closer look at the background color. The numbers are correct but you got them wrong. It’s 250 250 & 230.
Thanks a lot for your message and let me know if you spot some other errors. I’ll contact Sean (the VectorTuts editor) and he will make the correction.
Sometimes, when I hurry I accidentally hit the wrong buttons.
Sorry.
Thank you for the quick reply Andrei, and glad you’re able to correct this. I’ll be sure to let you know about any other errors. Thank you for the tutorial 🙂
